This is another one of my attempts to define a complex and vague term; I have done a few of these already but always in video form – where I just discuss the concepts off the top of my head and point out the major distortions I see as well as the underlying truths I notice – if interested in watching those, you can find them here: An Attempt to define Infinity, Sovereignty, and Intention.
I may backtrack and create some blog write-ups of the terms I’ve touched on already, but just for today, to start off, I’d like to tackle a new and ever more mysterious word: Truth.
There is so much ground to cover when we talk about truth because it is a paradox – it is constant and yet it forever changes.
This is a very difficult concept to grasp because it requires the intellectual capacity to hold open a full range spectrum (including both positive & negative) of infinite imagination space for the unlimited possibilities contained within the exploration of two opposing end points.

I recently received a fortune cookie with this little slice of wisdom within it. I thought to myself, what a perfectly simple definition. But, it was more than just the words that snagged my attention – it was the notion of truth being something more real than others, when others fall away, the truth will remain. Like a seed, this little insight buried deep inside me and has since sprouted so many roots.
Of course, the quest for truth is nothing new. It literally is the entire purpose of us being here and therefore we can see that idea spread out across all of Humanity’s History in unending variations – as plain and simple as The Hero’s Journey model.
But, what I’d like to do here, and the reason my ‘series’ of videos was offered in the first place, is to attempt a plain language explanation of the concept as a whole, without the tiny nuances or variations we are accustomed to adding in. To simply look at the concept’s bare bones and note the architecture, functions and processes available to begin with, so that when we do add on our own personal touches, we can each do so in the most honorable and aligned ways.
So, what is Truth exactly?
To me, (and many – I do not claim ownership to this summary whatsoever) there is only One Truth because there is only One Thing happening here. This one truth is interpreted in infinite ways – but each designation or pronunciation still contains the root word and uses the rules to build it’s particular, distinct terminology. This is why and how it is so simple to see they are all saying the same thing.
What is that one thing, you may be asking? Quite plainly, it is: I AM.
This One Base Truth spawns directly into the deepest, clearest reflection: We Are One.
This echoing of the initial single truth of Being – reverberates out creating its first rippling wave, the wave which connects all and links all Beings together, the Truth that says we are one.
This secondary truth recognizes the uniting bond of the single truth, and ask us to honor each other in turn as that I Am Being of Truth which is so clear in its message.
We are One? One What? One Who? How does that even make sense? I’m questioning and speaking from experience here, as I’ve plowed my way through this concept; from hearing it the very first time to retracing past steps back and forth, from thinking of it concretely to philosophically, from ruminating on it as a metaphysical law to comparing it to the known laws of the physical and energetic we are already familiar with. I did the point A to B and back again so many times I wore a beaten path around the whole thing, from every angle.. or so I’d thought, (and sometimes foolishly still think,) until I notice an untouched area, a piece of ground I’ve yet to explore and as I imprint that new path around the same old point I realize, through experience and wisdom that I was never walking from here to there and back again – not a straight line from A to B but instead it is a circle, a cycle, a clearing ground around the same image or placeholder – my reflection, my face – the before and the after that I know has created this here and now presentation. It’s all way of focusing, of turning the lens to create more clarity. [Think: microscope or telescope lens.]
If all this sounds a bit too out there for someone who claims they want to offer a plain definition of a vague concept – well, I empathize with you there and ask for your forgiveness in my metaphorical blabberings, but I do assure you that they are not as frivolous and fluffy as they appear – there’s weight in them, but only if you choose to recognize it, to admit it to yourself and incorporate the knowledge into your actual reality.
This is the catch 22 of the quest to Truth – each fractal of creator conscious holds within them, the right to tailor fit, alter or distort the One Truth in whatever fashion they desire – for whatever reasoning they deem as worthy. This is the Law of Free Will – or as Ra refers to it – the Law of Chaos. This is where the fun happens – if we can allow ourselves to start seeing change, unpredictability and growth as fun!
When we look at it honestly Truth is a Paradox
This is how and why so many cultures over time can all come up with the same truths yet arrive from totally different perspectives. Truth is continually the same, yet it is forever changing. How is that possible? Well, I ran myself ragged on that treadmill of wondering and I’ll tell you what I learned – the point was never about finding the How or Why but releasing those flimsy desires for external confirmation and accept that I already know the answer. Truth just Is – just as I just Am.
It’s as plain as that; I am conscious and present, unique in my thinking and alive in my life – this knowing requires no other confirm in order for me to believe in it. To deny it is where I feel distortions and wrongness pop in – and I see that introspective balanced act of sensing truth verses lies to be our base level of spiritual work here – it is perfectly dubbed Light & Shadow work – and it is constantly available for each of us to do on our own. That Great Work becomes the One Truth played out in your own unique role and place in life. You can be no Other than who you are already and that is the beauty of truth and of the gift of this adventure of Being.
How honestly you do that Great Work reflects only within you. It creates on the atmosphere of your own inner world – so why bother with anything that feels untrue, distorted or like a lie to you? Why bend your light into uncomfortable angles and directions that you do not seek to look in? Why creates shadowy corners for lingering energies to pile up within?
Why not approach each thought and action with open ears, eyes and heart to observe the true nature of things and respond with unconditional love. assisting in seeking the highest good for all?
These are the questions I ask myself continually in order to gain more clarity, more truth. I gauge myself against these markers and spot test my thoughts, desires, beliefs and actions in real time, awake and alive – learning and teaching through every present moment in honest hope of living each of those to its fullest positive potential in great service to All, within my own uniquely set coordinates and parameters of the Whole.
I do this gradual and progressive work of uncovering what remains after time, after dissection, after cleaning and clearing space with a grateful and open heart, knowing that each layer discovered under the last is ever more closer to the Truth, to the One Infinite Creator, and to the Before & After where all of this is but a dream, a secondary after thought blooming out from the original.
This has been a very roundabout way of defining Truth but I hope, as always, that you’ve enjoyed reading my explanation and maybe even gotten something new out of it!
